Hotel General

What are the check in and check out times during my stay?

Check-in is from 2:00 PM for all reservations made directly through our websites. For all other booking channels, check-in is from 3:00 PM. Check-out is available for everyone until 11:00 AM.

Until what time is the hotel reception open?

The hotel reception is open 24/7, which means that there will always be someone there to welcome you, regardless of your time of arrival.

Are pets allowed at the hotel?

Yes, pets are allowed in the hotel for an additional charge.

Is smoking allowed in the hotel?

The hotel is completely non-smoking. That means no smoking in the hotel, rooms, balcony and other public areas.

What payment methods are accepted?

At the reception we accept the following payment methods: pin (contactless) or by credit card. Payment with cash is not possible.

Is luggage storage available?

Yes, luggage storage is available free of charge if you wish to leave your luggage at the hotel before check-in or after check-out.

Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?

The hotel does not have specific wheelchair-adapted rooms, but wheelchair-accessible rooms can be contacted at the front desk for availability and options.

I am not yet 18 years old, can I stay in the hotel?

It is allowed when the parents have signed a written statement. We also ask for a copy of the passport of all underage guests, in case there is no adult present.

What is the reason you have to give your credit card?

To guarantee your reservation before arrival, the amount on your credit card will be authorized at noon on the day before your arrival. At check-in you can pay with another payment card, the authorization taken earlier will be cancelled.

How can I change or cancel my reservation?

You can change or cancel your reservation by contacting the booking channel where you made your reservation. Please check your personal reservation confirmation for the specific cancellation policy.

Restaurant

What are the breakfast opening hours?

From Monday to Friday you can enjoy breakfast from 07:00 - 09:30. And on weekends from 07:30 to 10:00. 

Breakfast is not included in the reservation, can we still take advantage of breakfast?

Yes it is certainly possible to use breakfast. Please contact the hotel by phone to adjust your reservation for this purpose.

Car, bicycle and public transport

Does the hotel have its own parking lot?

The hotel itself does not have hotel parking spaces. We will refer you to one of the nearby parking lots.

What parking options are available?

Upon arrival you can use the nearby parking spaces near the hotel.

Can I rent a bicycle during my stay?

Yes sure, you can rent a regular or an electric bike during your stay at our reception.

Is the hotel easily accessible by public transportation?

Tulip Inn Heerlen City Center is easy to reach by public transport. Heerlen station is an 8-minute walk from the hotel and 6 minutes by car.

Group reservations

Can I stay overnight with a group at Amrâth Hôtels?

Yes, certainly! At Amrâth Hôtels you can make group reservations starting from 10 rooms, for example for corporate outings, sports teams, family weekends, and other gatherings. Each hotel has its own charm and location, from city center to beach or nature, ensuring there's always a suitable location for your group.

How can I request a group reservation at Amrâth Hotels?

Is it possible for my group to have breakfast in a separate room?

We are happy to explore the possibilities for your group to have a private breakfast. Please indicate this in your request so that we can look into it further. Availability may vary by hotel.

Can I dine with my group at one of the Amrâth hotels?

That varies per hotel. Some Amrâth hotels have their own restaurant where a tailor-made dinner or buffet can be served. In hotels without a restaurant, we are happy to advise you on good dining options in the immediate vicinity.

Can I pay my invoice for a group reservation afterwards?

In many cases, that is possible. Please contact our reservations team; they will be happy to inform you about the payment conditions for group bookings.
